You can search in our Members listings by company name or business type to find a builder or supplier. Builder members must meet strict admission criteria involving experience, credit worthiness, and customer satisfaction before membership is granted. All builder members are required to be licensed as a Single Family Home Builder or Commercial Contractor by the Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board.

Each February the Greater Fort Smith Association of Home Builders hosts the largest product exposition for housing in this part of Arkansas! With a tradition of excellence spanning over 40 years, people flock by the thousands to see what our exhibitors, demonstrations and seminars have to offer.

The Fall 2011 Greater Fort Smith Parade Of Homes showcase is an opportunity to tour some of the finest homes built in Fort Smith and the surrounding communities. HBA builder members are proud of their work and are pleased to bring this event to you. Yearly our builders have the opportunity to show-off their best during our annual Parade Of Homes in conjunction with the Showcase Homes.

Each fall our members combine their products, skills and energy to produce the singular most popular housing event of the year . . . This two-week showing allows about THOUSANDS of your friends and neighbors to tour the shining star of our Association.
The 2011 Showcase Home will be built in The Woods at Chaffee Crossing, with Charles Mock acting as our Supervising Contractor. The projected dates for this year's Showcase Home opening is October 8th through 23rd.

Mason-Barr Scholarship
Golf Tournament
Each spring the Association presents the Mason/Barr Scholarship Golf Tournament for the purpose of raising funds to award $1,000 scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors whose parents are members or are employees of members of the Association. The event is held in memory of past President Don Mason, a Van Buren home builder, and the late Dick Barr, Vice President of the Harry G. Barr Company of Ft. Smith. Both of these great association leaders were taken from us too early, and both were believers in the value of educating our next generation of home building professionals.
