Mason Barr Golf Tournament

Mason Barr Golf Tournament

For the last several decades the Mason Barr Golf Tournament has granted scholarships to students within the River Valley community. The event, while coordinated by The Greater Fort Smith Association of Home Builders, is truly a community event that could not take place without the support from its 46 sponsors. Businesses come together across the region to sponsor food, drinks, and holes on the green. This year, amid the threat of a global Coronavirus pandemic, the event was pushed back to May 29th, out of concern for the health and safety of the community. But now, with restrictions lifted, the event is still expected to turn out a good crowd.

Check in for the event begins at 10am, during which time the Greater Fort Smith Association of Home Builders plans to honor the various scholarship recipients. The tournament begins at 11am; it will be organized in teams according to Three Man Scramble. The entry fee is $150 per team and includes 18 holes, cart rental and a lunch of grilled burgers and hot dogs.
